MTN OUTDOORS NEW 054 NETWORK CODE

MTN one of the giant telecommunication operaters in Ghana currently operating on 024 network code, which is fully utilized thus necessitating the addition of a new network code has launched a new network code (054) in addition to its existing code . The Chief Executive Officer of MTN, Brett Goschen, said the introduction of the new code was to give potential customers a chance to enjoy MTN's services. He said MTN would soon launch a 3.5G Network to provide high data speed and internet access in addition to numerous and innovative products and services.He reiterated that "MTN will continue to invest in health and education, which is our two major focus areas.The company would also increase investment in capital expenditure including building a countrywide fibre network to improve the overall network quality.Thanking the National Communication Authority for their permit to operate on the 054 network the Chief Marketing Officer of MTN Mr George Andah, , said since the introduction of MTN in Ghana, they had adopted and lived by the Can-Do Spirit, which had led them to extreme heights in the telecommunications industry. He said they were grateful for the commitment and loyalty of its customers and it was their desire to provide every communication need wanted. "MTN remains committed to continuing investments in network infrastructure to ensure that the network is able to support the expected addition of new subscribers,".He said the new service code 054 will will take effect from today and customers will be allowed to choose their own numbers." The new net work code is planned to compliment rather than replace the existing network code 024".
