MESSAGE FROM GHANA BAR ASSOCIATION ON ELECTION 2008


The Acting National President of the Ghana Bar Association S. Kwami Tetteh has called on electorate to vote peacefully during and after this year's election.


He disclosed this at a press conference in Accra. "The Ghana Bar Association wishes all candidate sucess during the elections.The association commends the aspirants for offering to serve the nation".


Mr. Tetteh retirated that lawyers wants each of the aspirants to prevail upon their followers to conduct themselve peacefully during the election.


As lawyers we encourage all to resolve whatever dissatisfaction you may have with the election result in court not elsewhere.He also appealed to the media to be more sensitive all times and to be circumspect in their reportage in the interest of peace.
