The 1oth edition of the Ghana Music Awards has been launched in Accra.The programme dubbed the "MTN Music Awards" would take place at the Accra International Conference on the 4th April this year. It follows a other award programmes such as countdown to music awards befors the main event and celebration jams after the event.Speaking at the launch the Minister of Tourism, Mrs Juliana Azumah-Mensah commended organisers for their effrots for the past decades.She challenged MUSIGA and other related bodies to bring up ideas for government to support which will lead to the promulgation of the enterainment industry.Some nominees for the awards includes Great Ampong for gospel artist of the year,Black Rasta for the best reggae song of the year and R2Bee,PRAYE for the hiplife artist of the year.Voters are to send their votes to MTN SMS code 1758.
