GHANA FINANCIAL SERVICES TO BE RE-BRANDED BAYPORT FINANCIAL SERVICES.

"Ghana Financial Services will be soon undergoing a re-branding exercise to be known as Bayport Financial Services". This was diclosed by Mr.Kofi Adu Mensh the Managing Director of Ghana Financial Services at the second edition of the GNAT/GHANAFIN scholarship award ceremony in Accra. "Wherever the Bayport name is found,it epitomises our unshakeable belief in the capacity and will of all people to empower themselves and to shape their own destinies through access to credit and to economic opportunity coupled with self development". He said Bayport promises a more exciting and diverse range of products for clients and the general public.Mr.Adu-Mensah talking on the scholar awards said it was part of his outfits corporate responsibility after operating in country for 5 years to contribute to society hence motivated to partner with Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) to assist ten briliant but needy students each year which started last year. The Scholarship package will cater for their academic fees right from the first year of their senior secondary school education till the successful completion of the scholarship beneficiaries tertiary education. "We shall execute this project with all the zeal and passion it deserves". Our objective is to provide the same opportunity to as many children as possible every year as long as our resources can support. Mr.Adu-Mensah advised beneficiaries of the scheme make the best out of the programme for their own benefit. The ten award winners are selected each from all the ten regions of the country and stand the chance of winning when parents or guardian saves with GHANAFIN as a loyal customer.Ghana Financial Services is a non banking financial institution which started operation in 2003 with 23 branches through out Ghana.
