A novel tilted "Letter to Jomo" has been launched in Accra.The novel which is a collection of humorous news essays was written by Mr. George Sydney Abugri a columnist with Graphic since 1993. Speaking at the launch the author commented on high risk of doing priniting and publishing business in the country. "Banks can also channel their social responsibility duties to help in book publishing to help bring effect literacy into the country".He challenged govnment to develope a national book development policy that will address problems by appropriate guidelines for the development,printing and distribution of books in a manner that will make books more accessibly to the public at prices that are affordable.The Representative of the vice president John Dramani Mahama launched the book and read his congratulatory message to the participants.
